Recognition of the national significance of the Sir Henry Parkes Memorial School of Arts has elevated the building and its museum collection to a national mecca in the Australian federation story.

The Museum is housed in a collection of buildings; the historic Farmers Arms Hotel which was first licensed in 1876, a bank, a cottage, several sheds, a stable and a smithy.

The Museum is managed by the Euroa Historical & Genealogical Society.

The Museum holds an extensive collection of local artefacts, including clothing, household items, farm machinery, war memorabilia and much more.

Once more Wangaratta Woollen Mills will be having its huge shed sale during July, exact date yet to be confirmed.
 
The Mill was officially opened in August 1923 producing high quality worsted yarns and was soon acknowledged to be the most progressive spinner of high quality knitting yarns, growing to become Australia's largest mainland mill.
 
You can visit the Mill Shop all year round.
