AURORA BOREALIS i.e. NORTHERN LIGHTS

The origin of the northern lights has various explanations in folklore and mythology.

The people of Scandinavia, the Inuits, the American Indians, tribes in Siberia, the people of Russia and the Baltic countries and the people of Mongolia all have had various beliefs related to the northern lights.

According to a Finnish folk tale, an arctic fox is running far in the north and touching the mountains with its fur, so that sparks fly off into the sky as the northern lights.

AD DEIR, PETRA, JORDAN

The Ad Deir in Petra, Jordan, is an ancient monastery carved into the side of a mountain. It's very impressive with the almost 27 ft (8 m) high doorway that works as the only source of light for the enormous main chamber.

Wow, this view is so fantasy world-like...

...that I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Velociraptor walking by casually in this photo or if Frodo was desperately splashing in the pond trying to escape some bleak bad guy, awesome!

BUDDHA WITH A THOUSAND HANDS

We'll end this week's world tour in China. Check this video.

This is one INCREDIBLE choreography by The China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe. All of the performers featured in this video are deaf. How on earth can they do the performance so perfectly in sync?
