District 2 Fellowship
District 2 of the Great Lakes Conference, (formerly known as the Michigan State Council) is having a fellowship of all churches in that district. Sunday, March 31st at 4:00 p.m., Greater Apostolic Faith Temple, a member of District 2, will join three other churches and th
e host church, Bible Fellowship Christian Church, in worship. The host church is located at 1106 Joslyn Avenue in Pontiac where District Elder Charles Thompson is the pastor. In order that we may take part in the fellowship, Bishop Gates has canceled GAFT’s 4:00 p.m. service.

Comcast Care Day Registration
Have you signed-up for Comcast Care Day? If not, please don’t hesitate. Comcast will provide t-shirts, continental breakfast and other items including money for the church for our clean-up day, May 4.  Comcast will give GAFT a grant based on each set of 15 people that participate on that day. You don’t have to be a member to participate. Let’s get the full benefit of this blessing. Sister Armita Redfield will be in the foyer to register you. You can also register online via our website or by clicking here.

Holy Week Commemoration
April 14-21, 2019, we memorialize Holy Week: the 7 days that changed the world. Our commemoration spans from Psalm Sunday's events that recall Christ's triumphant entrance into Jerusalem to Easter Sunday's events that celebrate Christ's victory over death. In the middle of the week, Wednesday, April 17th, we remember the suffering of Jesus in the "Last 7 Sayings of Christ Service." Stay tuned for additional information.

Black Tie Affair
The Black Tie Affair is a joyful salute to GAFT's graduating class of 2019. Our GAFT family is very proud to have 11 high school graduates! The May 10th dinner is open to everyone who wants to come and joyfully send our high school seniors into their next stage of life! Dress up, come and enjoy an evening of fun and good food. Tickets are $40.00 per person. For further details, contact Sister Sabrina Ellison.

Parents of 2019 Graduates
To help defray the cost of church-related events for the 2019 graduates, their parents are having a fundraiser. Just in time for Easter, they are taking pre-orders for homemade baked goods: cakes, pies, puddings and dinner rolls. Please stop by the graduates' table in the foyer to place your order. All monies are due by April 14th

New Christian Education Class
Elder Michael Wilson, Superintendent of Christian Education, announces a new class for women. It is held 9:00-9:45 a.m. each Sunday.  The class deals with concerns related to women.
