Black History Month
February is Black History Month. We will celebrate our heritage each Sunday with special sacred arts presentations. As part of the celebration, everyone is requested to wear African attire on the fourth Sunday, February 23rd,  Come every Sunday in this month and participate in a salute to our heritage.

 Apostolic Heritage -Do You Know?
In conjunction with the acknowledgment of the history of African Americans, we recognize some of the historical facts of our international organization, Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith International, Inc. (PCAF).
Do You Know?
Branched from the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc, Organization (PAW) in 1957, the PCAF shares the numerous gifted pioneers of the African-American Apostolic Movement.

Sister S. Kathleen Grimes, the wife of Bishop Samuel J. Grimes, the second Presider of the PAW (tenure 1932-1967) was a prolific writer of apostolic hymns. In 1948,  her hymns were published in a songbook titled, "Echoes of  Zion." Included in the songbook is Lady Grimes' song that has become a classic: "The Great I Am."

The legacy of the presider having a gifted wife continues today. Lady Nancy Franklin Gates, the spouse of  Bishop Lambert W. Gates,  the 7th Presider of the PCAF (tenure 2016- ) is a prolific writer of books. She has written literary works designed for the spiritual and natural well being of children as well as adults. Her latest book "Route 66 Navigating Your Way Through the Bible" is an excellent tool for anyone who wants a greater understand and utilization of the Bible.

 2020 Vision Worksheet
Have you completed your 2020 worksheet? This upcoming Sunday, February 9th special prayer will be said for all completed worksheets during the morning service. This worksheet will aid in writing out your vision and making it plain in 2020! You will keep this worksheet for your review throughout this year.  If you are in need of a worksheet,  you can download a copy of it.

Prayer Request
"The Lord... heareth the prayer of the righteous" Proverbs 15:29.  A box is placed at the sanctuary altar for prayer requests. On top of the box are slips of paper to write petitions. The requests will be brought before the Lord in fervent prayer.
Fellowship One Check-In
Fellowship One Check-in is a new GAFT, self-enrollment, program that allows members to digitally connect to the church.
The purpose of the connection is to:
  • Foster member engagement in the church
  • Encourage the development of church community
  • Provide a convenient way for each member to register his/her presence at church (eliminates writing out a "Care Card")
Stay tuned for more details. Please don't fail to check out Fellowship One Check -In!
2020 Financial Commitment
Over and above our tithe and freewill offering, each person is asked to give $150 during one year's time and $300 over a 4-month period. Please pray and consider making a pledge. Commitment cards are available from the ushers on Sunday. However, you don't have to wait until then.
