When it comes to celebrating National Donation Life Month, you really can have it your way. We invite you to celebrate with LifeShare by coming to an event. You may also come by our office and have your photo taken with our selfie station so you can show your support of donation to your family and friends.
You can also help us to turn Facebook blue, green and Donate Life by participating in the Twibbon campaign during April. A Twibbon is an overlay that covers your photo. You can download that and other materials using National Donate Life Month graphics by logging onto DonateLife.net/NDLM and DonateLife.net/Blue-Green-Day.
National Blue and Green Day is April 15th
As usual, LifeShare is sponsoring a photo contest to see which hospital units and which individuals can be most creative in sporting Donate Life blue and green. The contest rules and other information on April celebrations are available on the LifeShare Of The Carolinas Facebook page.

Heartbeat, New TV Show Debuts This Spring
You guessed it. This new show is adapted from a book written by a real-life heart transplant surgeon, Dr. Kathy Magliato. Scheduled to run at at 8 PM EST on Wednesday evenings, the medical drama will show the personal and professional side of what it’s like to be a highly skilled woman working in a male-dominated field. The show features Melissa George in the starring role. Others in the cast are Don Harry, Dave Annabelle and Dr. Hughley.
We expect there will be lots of tweets each week from the donation community and from the stars alike. Don’t forget it’s fiction!
