Greetings from Atlanta, where the new National Center for Civil & Human Rights opened last month to amazing reviews from visitors and the international press.
As a result, we've determined there's no better place for us to "meet-up" this July than in Atlanta. It's the home of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the center of so much religious and creative expression that it has impacted enough freedom movements to fill a museum. Join us on July 14 (RSVP below).
We also ask that you continue to spread the word about our 4th annual A&O student art contest this November in Indianapolis. The call-for-entries can be downloaded here and over $500 in cash prizes will be awarded. This year's A&O Prize theme is "Journey to Freedom," and is open to students (grades 9-12) of all faiths, or no-tradition at all!
Lastly, we invite you to subscribe to our weekly e-missive titled the RELIGIOUS ART | NEWS OF WEEK. It's free and a core part of our search for ways to include you in the journey of the world's religious freedoms through art.
See you in Atlanta!
