W.TEC's Annual Girls Technology Camps, Opens In July - #WTEC2017Camps
The months of May and June at W.TEC were simply marvellous. In this July edition of our Newsletter, we present to you our upcoming Technology camps  for girls plus the wonderful activities at W.TEC in May and June:

W.TEC Visit Ireland & Sweden 
May was indeed exceptional for  W.TEC. We had the privilege of participating in two international conferences in both Ireland and Sweden. We share with you the personal experiences by our representatives Adeyemi Odutola and Folashade Braimoh at the EMEA child safety summit and the Stockholm Internet Forum respectively.

It's a Wrap! for W.TEC's      
W.TEC's ''SHE CAN WITH ICT'' 2016/2017 edition at UNILAG, powered by Intel's - ''She Will Connect'' initiative, wrapped in June. The Entrepreneurship and Technology workshop series has certainly contributed to female upliftment on the UNILAG campus. We gladly share with you how the programme ended on a high note.

A Dream Trip To South Africa, For participants of W.TEC's ''SHE CAN WITH ICT''
Three ladies from W.TEC's ''SHE CAN WITH ICT'' programme at UNILAG were sponsored by Intel's ''She Will Connect'' programme, on an all expense paid trip, to attend the coveted, Thomson Reuters - Journalism workshop at  Sandton - South Africa. We share with you, their experiences from their once in a lifetime, trip from UNILAG to South Africa.

Our 2017, Summer Tech Camp, for Girls is here!!!

W.TEC's Flagship Technology camp for girls is here again. We heralded the expansion of our camp to you and now, we are certainly poised, to give almost 100 girls a memorable fun learning experience.
This year marks the 10th consecutive year of the camp and we are glad to be hosting 2 editions of the camp this year in Lagos and Oyo State at such a milestone. In this post, we present to you more insights on the two camps.

Visits To W.TEC
In the month of  May, we had the pleasure of receiving many amazing visitors from IREX,, ATC and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation who all came with their beautiful intentions towards the growth and empowerment of our youth. We share with you, their interesting visits to our office.

W.TEC Academy, Class of 2017 Graduates
The W.TEC Academy (powered by Oracle Academy) on Wednesday, June 21st, held the graduation ceremony for 110 participants of its 2016/2017 session. The ceremony which was a huge success was hosted by Goethe Institute at City Hall – Lagos.

W.TEC Academy Teams Up With Wifi Combat Academy Towards Code Week Nigeria 
Recently, the Coding Club team an initiative of W.TEC Academy, partnered with Wifi Combat Academy to facilitate coding sessions at 3 boot camps over a period of 3 weeks towards Code Week Nigeria - a computer boot camp for kids. The boot camp was organised towards preparing select schools for the Oracle Academy Code Competition. In this post we share with you the training of almost 100 kids for the boot camp.
