W.TEC Girls Camp nominated for 2017 WSIS Prizes
W.TEC Technology Camp for Girls recently got nominated for the  WSIS Prizes award (category 4). W.TEC's annual two-week residential stem camp for girls is nominated alongside many other amazing initiatives from all over the world. W.TEC is calling on all supporters to support its bid to win the Award.  Voting closes on April 30.

W.TEC's ''SHE CAN WITH ICT'' programme at UNILAG is in top gear. Wrapping up its first phase of lectures on entrepreneurship, it is now set to move on its next phase of lectures. In this column, we share with you, the progress report of W.TEC's  program at UNILAG.

W.TEC Expands its Summer
Tech Camps for Girls in 2017

W.TEC is glad to announce that she is expanding her flagship summer technology camp for girls. W.TEC  for the first time will be hosting a camp outside of Lagos.

On March 11th 2017, W.TEC marked 9 years of inspiring over 20,000 women and girls with ICT skills. In this edition of our newsletter, W.TEC shares with you, our performance so far over the years.

W.TEC Hits the Road for Librarians Review Meetings
W.TEC's Beyond Access team in February through April hit the road to conduct the 3rd stage of workshops (peer learning meetings) in Lagos, Ibadan and Awka.  At the PLMs, we reviewed the progress for the Beyond Access capacity building programme for librarians.

W.TEC Academy launches the new ''Coding Club''  for kids 
W.TEC's after school computer club for girls (W.TEC Academy) has been extended to primary schools. In a bid to catch them young the project designed for secondary school students has now expanded its reach to pupils in primary schools. In this column, we share with you progress of this new initiative of W.TEC's Academy.
