W.TEC Film Prodution Workshop for Secondary School Girls:
W.TEC in conjunction with
Adobe Youth Foundation conducted the Adobe Youth Voices ‘Create with a Purpose’ program for the 2nd year running. This time we worked with two schools on their premises to make it a permanent fixture in the school curriculum, the program produced beautiful works on why society is losing its moral values, Also our post - workshop evaluation of participants indicated some interesting findings.  Click for more details

 W.TEC 16 Days of Activism 2013:

Since 2009, W.TEC has organized several activities in identifying with the movement by holding school seminars for girls and various other online activities against violence against women.

 W.TEC Links up with LinkedIn:
W.TEC  finally joined LinkedIn, a professional social networking website. As of June 2013, LinkedIn reportedly had 259 million members in over 200 countries and this is exactly what W.TEC needs to link up with new supporters, friends and future partners.

W.TEC Director’s 2013 Report:
2013 was a truly awesome year for W.TEC! The refining of W.TEC’s operational and human resource strategies, resulted in the increase of the number of programs we ran in 2013 to 8 (up from 3 in 2012) including other milestones in social media engagement, higher number of program participants and school outreach

 W.TEC’s 2013 Speaking Engagements:
In 2013 W.TEC’s E.D., Oreoluwa Somolu, delivered many inspiring talks (the highest since 2008), from the United States to several workshops and corporate events in Nigeria. This report highlights all her
