W.TEC Bits & Bytes

 March 2019
The month of March for W.TEC, took on an international profile with us  partnering with the IOM (International Organization for Migration) - Nigeria, to mark 2019 International Women's Day. We also hosted the inventor of the World Wide Web; Sir Tim Berners-Lee who was on a 3 city global tour to celebrate 30 years of the Web and our online GirlFundCampaign via GlobalGiving  got global support  to raise funds for W.TEC's upcoming STEM camps for girls in summer.
It was an honour for W.TEC to be of part of Sir Tim Berners-Lee's global celebration of the milestone 30-years of the World Wide Web. The inventor of the World Wide Web was on a 3-city global tour (Geneva-London-Lagos) for him to have a reflective journey on the past, present and future of the World Wide Web. We are indeed excited to share with you his visit to W.TEC which was part of his Lagos tour.  Read more     View Pictures
