What a busy, productive, and unforgettable third month of programing at Leaders in Training! We thank you for your continued interest and support-- hope you like the new newsletter format and welcome to our new subscribers.

We are continuing to learn and revise programming based on feedback from students. Monday is now optional in order that those who attend get more individual attention and revised Tues/Thurs scheduling is below. We continue to participate in monthly community service and/or college access events and even excitingly continue to grow with two more students joining in October. Do not doubt: Las Vegas students are hungry for leadership opportunities, a safe/productive place to go after school, and guidance/support on how to become the first person in their family to graduate from college-- we will continue to tirelessly work to ensure all students have an equitable opportunity for success in life through education-- thank you for being on this journey with us:

Special shout out to the Clark County School District Administrative Center, Human Resources Division & Curriculum and Professional Development offices who chose us as their September and October "Fan Friday" fundraiser recipients. To wear jeans on Fridays, these caring administrators collectively donated almost $1,000! And as a mighty organization of one, thank you to our volunteer tutors, drivers, thought partners & donors of time and talent-- you know this does not happen without you.

Finally, no matter your party affiliation, I know we can agree on one of our President's beliefs: "[I]f you’re willing to work hard, it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from or what you look like... you can make it here in America if you’re willing to try." Our students are trying. We will get them there together. Thank you for an awesome month.

For equitable opportunity,
