College Access events: ASU Hunnicutt Future Educators Academy week-long college access camp (below), Latino Youth Leadership Conference week-long college access camp at UNLV (bottom left), UNR parent meeting presentation, Jesuit Consortium at Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy, Harvard Prize Book reception, UNLV Future Scholars Series, Nepantla at Nevada State College & LIT's First Annual Senior Scholarship Celebration awarding $3,200 in scholarships to Cohort 1+ members (bottom right)
Community empowerment, collaboration & volunteering: Goldfarb ES Math/Science night, Three Square in conjunction with Boston University's Nevada Global Day of Service (below left), Aid for Aids Nevada, United Way of Southern Nevada's NGAGE awards ceremony (below right), March of Dimes (below), Teach For America LVV, Club Christ Ministries, Goldfarb ES kinder round up, Asian American & Pacific Islander Democratic Caucus, Equipo Academy, Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con, Operation HOPE, Cesar Chavez Day Las Vegas Youth Committee & movie viewing, Center for Latino Prosperity & The Writer's Block  "The Country I Call Home" book-signing collaboration, Project 150 Angel Velasquez Memorial Balloon & Candle Light and Northeast Metro National Night Out

Summer 2015 internships: Desert Reign Foundation Sports & Nutrition camp counselors, LIT students part of Clark County Summer Business Institute interning with the Public Defender's Office and the Winchester Cultural Center & local hospital internship
Highlights after 6 semesters:
  • Cohort 1+: 100% college acceptance/matriculation
  • 7,000+ community service hours since Aug. 2012
  • Average 3 internships/student
  • 100% parent engagement 2014-2015 school year measured by volunteering
  • 57% Cohort 2 students rank top 20% of high school class
  • Male: 55%/Female: 45%
  • Latino: 70%
  • Asian: 18%
  • Caucasian: 8%
  • African American: 2%
  • Native American: 2%
  • Retention: 75%
  • LIT students attend 10 different southern Nevada high schools & 3 colleges
