Engaging people in creating a sustainable future through local efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle.

We had a terrific turnout at the Sierra Club last Wednesday evening! Thanks to everyone who attended our annual meeting.

We got great feedback on our BYOC campaign and recruited new volunteers to work with coffee shops, encouraging customers to bring reusable cups.

Tetra Paks are used for non-refrigerated almond, soy and coconut milks and some soups to give them a long shelf life. The folks at Metro Recycling confirm that these Tetra Paks are indeed recyclable in your blue bin.

When in doubt, call Metro Recycling Information Hotline at 503-234-3000.
