Invitation to Join SPLC Pilot Program

In January, SPLC will release its Guidance for Leadership in Sustainable Purchasing v1.0 and kick off a Pilot Program in which purchasers, suppliers, certifiers and public interest advocates will test using the guidance and provide feedback.  Pilot participants will have access to educational sessions, peer practice groups, SPLC staff consultation, listening sessions, and will receive recognition for their involvement.

To learn everything you need to know about participating:
  1. Watch the Pilot Overview Webinar
  2. Review the Timeline, Participation Options and FAQ
  3. Fill out the Expression of Interest form
Enrollment in the Pilot will continue on a rolling basis for the next few months. The first webinar orientation for participants is on December 18th. Invitations to that are sent to respondents to the request for Expression of Interest.

What to expect at SPLC's 2015 Summit

The 2015 Summit will feature interactive workshops, presentations from leaders in the sustainable purchasing movement, peer-to-peer problem solving, high caliber networking, and opportunities to give input into the development of the Council's planned rating system. But that doesn't capture half of what makes an SPLC Summit so great! This brief video featuring voices from the 2014 Summit gives a fuller picture of what to expect:

We expect the 2015 Summit to be about twice the size of the 2014 Summit, but with many of the same qualities, so the 2014 program, speakers and attendee lists are good guides for what to expect: Join us at the 2015 Summit in Seattle, May 27-28!
