These tours will take place on Wednesday, May 10th immediately following the Summit:

National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) VIP Tour

SPLC has organized a special tour of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, CO, but space is quite limited (20 people). The tour will take place the afternoon of Wednesday May 10th after the Summit has officially ended. This tour will go into areas not normally open to the public, including the Research Support Building that is the world's largest net zero energy building.

NREL is the United States' primary laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency research and development. Due to NREL's limited tour capacity, buyers who are currently working on or considering a renewable energy or energy efficiency purchase will be prioritized for seats on the tour bus.

Image Projections West (IPW) Factory Tour

A certified diverse-owned business located in a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) zone, IPW is one of the largest remanufacturers of toner cartridges in the U.S.A., supplying to many Fortune 500 companies. IPW products, on average, contain over 75% post-consumer recovered materials, preventing about 4 lbs. of solid waste from going to the landfill and saving 3 quarts of crude oil. Come see for yourself how IPW workers disassemble, clean, re-assemble, and rigorously test the toner cartridges to ensure they perform equal to new products, while costing nearly 40% less.
