I hope you are so proud.. because despite all we’ve endured, we’re emerging. And even when the odds were stacked against us, we made the most out of a challenging situation. There was a virtual platform pivot. Then, since August, you showed up as we held Zumba outdoors, taking in the beauty of Sonoma County and keeping things happening in our dance fitness world. We sure have done it all! And now, I’m excited to tell you that my Sunday class will return to being held indoors at the Dance Center! (I’m already feeling emotional as I type that!) Starting next Sunday, June 27th at 10am, we’ll return to the spacious sprung dance floors of Studio A.
In true dance fashion, I’m taking one step at a time and will be considering additional changes to my class schedule as time goes on. For now, I’m thrilled for this transitional step!
I ask that you bring your own towel and water. As of late, I have noticed that practically all class participants are vaccinated. Masks will not be required while we dance. And while proof of vaccination is not required, I highly encourage unvaccinated participants to wear masks while attending class. And if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask while dancing regardless of vaccination status, please do so without worry. As always, this is a no-judgment zone. Thank you for your understanding, grace and support.
Starting today, I will be discontinuing Zoom classes but will maintain the On Demand subscription classes for now. (For more information on my On Demand classes, see below.) My monthly class pass, which was heavily discounted throughout the pandemic, will be returning to its regular pricing.
If you've been on the fence about attending class because of doubts, insecurities, a backpedal in fitness, weight gain, or anything else, please set that aside and come anyway. We all get it. Things turned upside down. The rug was pulled out from under us. But know that you are always a part of this fitness family. We are community and we are not here to judge. We are here to uplift and rise together. We’ve been through enough together by now to know that life can knock us sideways but that strength comes from bravely taking that small first step back into the mix. Vulnerability is the root of all good things in life. We'll always keep things respectful and encouraging. It's time to commit to showing up for ourselves and one another with grace, love and flexibility. Let's cut ourselves some slack and do more of what brings forth joy.
So get those dancing shoes and gear prepped, get yourself registered for class, spread the word, and get ready for our long awaited official return to the studio!
With gratitude and boatloads of excitement,
