In this season of so much change, with the great uprooting of things, we come together in worship to stand on solid ground.
Our Scripture for this week takes us back into God’s garden as we are invited to consider: what are our fruits? Or, for another perspective: what is our legacy?
Join us as we allow God to root us deeply in the Word. We can’t wait to see you.
Love,
Pastor Kaji
Scripture: Luke 6:43-45 (Year W):
43 [Jesus said,] “Indeed, no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 For each tree by its own fruit is known. Now, figs are not gathered from thorns, nor from a thornbush are grapes picked. 45 The good person out of the good treasure of the heart produces good, and the evil person out of evil treasure produces evil; for it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks.

This Sunday, the 10:00 am (4th grade or older) youth will explore “The Fox and Hen”, Luke 13:31-35 in the “Who Can We Be Together? A Biblical Exploration of Luke 13”. The 10:30 am (3rd grade or younger) children will learn about “Elijah and the Widow” in the Sparks Story Bible: Spark a Journey Through God’s Word.
