Daniel Krob appointed SystemX Scientific and Technological Director
SystemX is continuing to structure and expand by establishing a Scientific and Technological Department, that will be in charge of defining and implementing SystemX's scientific strategy. It will foster projects’ scientific excellence, and ensure academic international coordination and promotion. Daniel Krob will be the head of the department. Nicolas Treves will assist Daniel Krob as Deputy Scientific Director. Read the press relesases

Greetings from Pascal Cléré

Pascal Cléré, President of SystemX, is delighted to present you his best wishes. At this occasion, he was keened to deliver a message and its ambition for Systemx in 2015. Read it here.

AFIS presentation

Gérard Auvray, Technical Manager of AFIS (French Association for System engineering - Association Français d'Ingénierie Système) and Engineering Senior Expert at Airbus Defense & Space, came to SystemX to present  AFIS's role and responsibilities. SystemX is partner of the AFIS association since 2014. Find out more about AFIS.  

SAAS Academy fully operational

SAAS Academy is now officially operational. Almost 30 people participated to the three first January awareness sessions that took place respectively in Paris, Rennes and Lille. These sessions' goal is to present the big picture of what is the SaaS (Software as a Service) mode and what it implies for ISVs. As a reminder, the next steps are the coaching sessions. Safran chose Saclay for its research Center
On January, 27th, Safran inaugurated its technologcial and research center "Safran Tech". It chose the strategic location of the Saclay Plateau to benefit from the highest number of universities and colleges and an intensive research activity. This center will bring together 300 researchers and engineers. Find out more

R&D projects
EIC project

EIC project's kick off took place on January, 29th. This project aims at responding to complexity and growing computing safety threats of IS infrastructures thanks to a research and experimentation platform in cybersecurity.

ELA and FSF projects

ELA and FSF projects were invited by Systematic at its plenary session dedicated to automobile and transports. Elie Soubiran and WItold Klaudel, respectively FSF and ELA projects' managers, had the occasion to pitch about their respective projects.

SIM project

SIM project invited Claudia Eckert, Professor of design from Open University, to run a Seminar@SystemX about "Design Margins". Claudia Eckert is a reference in her scientific domain. If you missed her speech, here is the full video.

FELIN project

SystemX is member of FELIN project, funded by the Investment for the Future Program and BPI France and officially launched in January. Its goal is to develop both integrated circuit chips and new generation equipments for connected objects in 4G, as cars for example. ELA project is contributing to this project by establishing reference architecture with car manufacturers like Renault and PSA Peugeot-Citroën. They are particularly interested in specifications. On air!

In January, Paul Labrogere, Program Director at SystemX, was invited twice by the Media to talk about SystemX's research activites in the filed of conected cars. He notably broached the subject of safety, connected roads and traffic control.
