SiMSEO has been officially launched by Teratec and Genci in April 2016 as part of the PIA (investments for the future Program) call for interest “Diffusion of digital simulation in the industry”. This promising initiative serves to raise companies’ awareness about current industrial challenges and train them to digital simulation practices. SystemX, as a partner of SiMSEO, will organize and conduct digital simulation training sessions.

TAC Forum

On April 28th, Paul Labrogère, Autonomous Transport Program Director, gave a talk about the connected vehicles at the TAC (Technology Against Crime) Forum. This event provides a high level meetings series for the security-conscious international community to discuss the expectations of public and private stakeholders, the thoughts of the research community, and developments in the security industry.

BFM Business

On April 7th, François Stephan, Deputy CEO – International & Development, spoke in the TV show “Tech&Co” on the following topic: “Autonomous cars: the car of tomorrow already exists”. He emphasized that France has the capacity to become a center of excellence in the fields of autonomous cars, embedded systems and security. He also presented some works done within the LRA project related to the use of augmented reality in autonomous vehicles.

SystemX is now registered as a member of ETSI, the European Telecommunications Standards Institute. This institute produces globally-applicable standards for Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), including fixed, mobile, radio, converged, broadcast and Internet technologies. Its standards enable the technologies on which business and society rely.

Research and Innovation Spring
