July 2013

Hello and welcome to the July edition of the Choralis newsletter. This month we bring you some very positive statistics about the UK jobs market, an update on how Brad is getting on as he makes his way to Mongolia and some of the most interesting news articles we have recently come across.

Earlier this month, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and KPMG released a report that gave both a revealing and positive insight into the UK’s job market. As the economic recovery continues to gather pace, recruitment firms say that they are now placing more candidates into permanent jobs than they have done for the last two years.

Furthermore, demand for staff  is now at a three-year high, the number of job vacancies being advertised has accelerated and temporary roles are being filled at their quickest pace since Christmas. With such positive news about the jobs market and temperatures soaring across the country, it looks like the UK could be set for one of its best summers in decades.

As a lot of you already know, Brad West, who has been a resourcer for Choralis for quite some time now has decided to take on the challenge of a lifetime with his friend Harry. Together, the duo are making their way from the UK to Mongolia and have even been providing regular updates along the way.

Although they are certainly making us jealous with some of their shenanigans, it is clear that it hasn’t all been plain sailing for the guys and they have already had to face some very difficult times. If you would like to show your support, you can follow Brad and Harry on Twitter, read their regular blog updates or even better, make a small donation which will go to the Stroke Association.

That’s it from us this month. As always, if you have any questions or need assistance with any of your recruitment needs, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 01753 – 836290 or drop us an email.

Kind Regards,
The Choralis Team
