MBA Conclave 2021 Announced

MBA Research invites you to join us in October for MBA Conclave 2021! The year marks the organization's 50th anniversary of serving educators like you. At this time, we are hopeful that we can learn together in our home city of Columbus, Ohio. But if necessary, due to the pandemic, we will move the conference online. Either way, you can expect engaging, forward-thinking keynotes and sessions. The pool of business expertise in Columbus is deep, and we are pleased to share it with you. Nationwide Insurance, Scotts Miracle-Gro, CoverMyMeds, Root Insurance, Wendy's, DSW, and Abercrombie & Fitch Co. are just some of the major companies that call Columbus home.

Mark your calendars for October 8-11, 2021. Learn more about Columbus.

ACTE VISION 2020 Recap

Thank you, ACTE VISION 2020. As always, it was a terrific (virtual) gathering of CTE administrators and educators. We shared resources and information at our exhibit and in sessions on ethics education, digital badging, building credentials into classroom and CTSO, learning standards, project management, and using data to prove the value of business and marketing programs.

In addition to giving presentations and sharing our resources with others, our staff also had the chance to attend several terrific sessions led by CTE thought leaders. For example, we furthered our knowledge of middle school CTE in preparation for developing middle-school ethics curriculum and resources for next year and beyond. At other sessions, we heard about several outstanding books that we will be reading in the near future. Top on our list are (Re)Defining the Goal: The True Path to Career Readiness in the 21st Century by Kevin Fleming, Ph.D. and Thinking Like a Lawyer: A Framework for Teaching Critical Thinking to All Students by Colin Seale. Check these books out, and let us know what you think!

Friendly Reminder About Secure Copyrights

Please remember not to make MBA Research test items accessible on the Internet without password protection. Test items, like our instructional materials, are subject to copyright. In addition, public posting enables students to find answers online. One common way this occurs is through the use of Quizlet, Quia, or any review site. If you are using these, please immediately change your settings to private. Thank you!
