A once in a lifetime opportunity
Be sure to catch this Sunday's screening of Lady Maiko with guest director Masayuki Suo and lead actress Mone Kamishiraishi.
Stay back post film for a Q&A and photo opportunities!
Award-winning dramas
Pale Moon ( bottom left) recently won the Audience Choice Award and Best Actress at the Tokyo International Film Festival and My Man won the Golden George for Best Film at the recent Moscow Film Festival. Japan's contender for the Oscars this year is The Light Shines Only There, but if hard-hitting drama is not your thing, then Wood Job! has just been selected this year to be In Competition for the Asia Pacific Screen Awards.

Love is in the air
Hailed as Japan's version of Love Actually, It All Began When I Met You ( top middle) is an endearing story involving the lives of ten people, all interwoven in the lead-up to Christmas. Heartthrob Yutaka Takenouchi returns to the screen as the perfect man looking for love in A Tale of Nishino.
Remembering March 2011
Three years on, we remember the tragic lives lost from the Great East Japan Earthquake. Piano in the Shed and Homeland ( top right) are both set in Fukushima and about finding hope in the midst of great adversity.
