Lights on, applause!
Sydney kicked off JFF with close to 700 attendees at the opening film, After the Storm. Melbourne is opening tonight with an almost sold-out session of After the Storm. Additional tickets have been released for those who'd like to catch the opening night screening later!

THE SUN
Over the next few days, JFF in Sydney will be featuring a range of films by auteurs, dramas with a difference, and critically acclaimed titles.

On Thursday, moviegoers will be treated to a video message from Director Omori before
Seto & Utsumi screens, while Yu Irie's masterpiece The Sun (pictured above) will be screened alongside samurai action film Sanada Ten Braves.

On Friday, don't miss out on the one night only screenings of the live action adaptation of award-winning manga Erased, and the adventure drama Everest –The Summit of the Gods– starring Hiroshi Abe, Junichi Okada and Machiko Ono.

Police detective saga SIX FOUR Part 1 and Part 2 (pictured above) are equally selling fast, don't miss out on this cinematic experience and book your tickets early. so book your tickets early. Award-winning manga adapted for screen, Erased, is also selling fast so make sure to get in early as it's only screening once.

Last Sunday, our Kampai! For the Love of Sake screening was packed with documentary lovers and sake enthusiasts alike. If you missed out, make sure to check in on Saturday, 26 Nov, for the re-screening.
Creepy guy Nishino
Arthouse director Isao Yukisada's Pink and Gray welcomed a large crowd of audience across the board, while HK2: The Abnormal Crisis and Creepy ended with a round of applause from the audience. Our superhero Hentai Kamen had the audience constantly exploding in laughter while Creepy Guy of the Year nominee Nishino (of Creepy) had the audience on edge.
