The 17th JFF comes to an end of a fantastic year!
17th JFF comes to an end!

After 2 months of touring 5 cities nationally, the 17th JFF came to a close on Sunday, Dec 8 in Melbourne.

It has been an exciting adventure and we hope you’ve enjoyed the ride. The festival ventured north, south, east and west this year, bringing an extended program for the first time in Brisbane, Perth and Canberra. We received a warm welcome in all 3 cities and look forward to returning next year.

Our flagship cities of Sydney and Melbourne played host to some big named guests such as Kaoru Yachigusa, Yoshihiro Fukagawa, Satoshi Miki, Shinsuke Sato and of course Shinji Ono, our 2013 Cultural Ambassador.

The total nation-wide attendance for 2013 was 25,000 attendees.
We are very pleased with this result… all thanks to you!

The JFF Team would like to thank each and everyone one of you for contributing to the growing success of our festival and your continued patronage. We would also like to thank our tireless volunteers, nation-wide, for their enthusiasm and commitment to promoting Japanese film in Australia.

What’s in the pipeline for 2014? Stay tuned!
We are already working on next year’s program, with expectations of a line-up like no other!

Stay in touch via our social media channels like Facebook and Twitter for film related information and announcements, plus fell free to drop us a line anytime at japanesefilmfestival@jpf.org.au, we love hearing from you!
