JFF website
Hello Auckland!
For the first time in festival history, we arrive at last on international soil and say hello to our neighbours in New Zealand! It is a definitely a milestone for us and we absolutely cannot wait to get there!

We've organised a special treat for our Kiwi friends to celebrate our debut with two free screenings for you - The Kirishima Thing and Leaving on the 15th Spring. Tickets are available from the Box Office up to one hour prior to film commencement on the day of screening (first come first served).

Tips for Immersing JFF Films With Daily Life
The God of Ramen
Pecoross' Mother and Her Days

1. Head to your local ramen place for a chow-down. Then be inspired by Kazuo Yamagishi in the documentary The God of Ramen (Pictured on the left).
2. Take your mother out on a date, have a laugh and cry while watching the poignant Pecoross' Mother and Her Days (Pictured in the middle).
3. Then wind down after a long day with a cup of green tea. Ask This of Rikyu (Pictured on the right) will give you some historic background to the man who started the art of tea.
4. Go for something different that will turn your world upside down (literally) in Patema Inverted and experience some great Japanese anime.

Don't Forget!
Kenshin fans from Brisbane! To dress to impress!

We want you to dress up for the Opening night screening of Lady Maiko, the Rurouni Kenshin Trilogy and for the world première of Samurai of the Dead. The guys at Brisbane did a great job at the Kenshin screening! :)
