"Another newsletter so soon, Dedri?"

Yes, but a very quick one.  Just to tell you that I have now released the pattern for my Banksia Baby Blanket.  You can find all the Banksia Baby Blanket posts here:

The pattern includes a photo tutorial for the first 8 rounds of the blanket (and a chart), but the border instructions are written-only.  If you need chart/photographic help with the border, you can find that HERE as a separate stand-alone tutorial, called Whipsiderry Border.  I felt that the border deserved its own post so that people will hopefully be inspired to add it to anything their heart desires (provided that that 'anything' has a multiple of 10+5 stitches per side).

I've also published another of my Inside Crochet patterns - a small, useful (dare I say pretty?) clutch called A Touch of Colour Clutch.  You can find the pattern for that HERE.

Before you go, can I check if any of you are going to Yarndale this year?  I will be going and would love to meet you!  You can find me (and Sophie's Dream) on the Black Sheep Wools stand both days.  Matt from A Boy and Bunting will be in the Scheepjes lounge interviewing people and being fabulous.  There will be two interviews featuring Yours Truly, should you be interested in hearing about my journey so far.  Tickets are £5 and include a Scheepjes goody bag.  You can buy them HERE.

Ps.  Heehee.  There is this project on Ravelry called Charlotte's Sunshine Baby.  A pattern farming site used a photo of it to 'promote' my Charlotte Square pattern, and I have had SO many requests for this alternate pattern that it is literally insane.  I contacted the lady who made it (she's called Misty) and asked if I could feature her extension (which involves a few rounds from the Sunshine Owl CAL).  THEN I contacted Vanessa Smith (designer of said CAL) and asked her if she would let me use those few rounds to write up a how-to.  Both ladies agreed and I have FINALLY worked up the pattern in Scheepjes Chunky Monkey.  Now I just need to get it tested and then us three musketeers can share our collaborative pattern.  You are the first (and only, so far) people to see this.  But I just had to share!

Please note that this is NOT my final extension for Charlotte, but rather an interim celebration :)

Have a great weekend xx
