Good evening!

In Part 11 of Sophie's Universe we will be repeating the corner flowers from Sophie's Garden, so the rounds should be familiar to you.  Remember to check THIS POST if you are using the same colours as me (for the large version).

If you want to learn a little bit more about me, check out This Interview by Underground Crafter.  I love how she has used oodles of photos in it.

This week I am asking people to share photos of Sophie with their other hobbies.  This request was inspired by Anette Von Dottie's post in the Official CCC Social Group, which is hosting the CAL.  Anette also has a beautiful blog called Aarhuskalder.  It is in Danish, but her photos are so pretty that it is worth just scrolling through.  And you can always use Google Translate if something catches your fancy.

I was surprised to see how many people in the group like colouring in.  I am a fan myself, although time hasn't permitted it for ages and ages, but I was so tempted by this Secret Garden Coloring Book that I have ordered it from Amazon.  It's currently on special at 36% off, so extra money for yarn for me :)  I am hoping it will inspire me.

I already own Detailed Designs and Beautiful Patterns (Sacred Mandala Designs and Patterns Coloring Books for Adults), which I absolutely LOVE.  The thing I love the most about it is that it comes with a printable pdf, so if I like a particular page I can print it again and again, which is very handy for the boys.  It's also on special at the moment (48% off).

As for pencils, I use these Prismacolor Colored Pencils.  I prefer Staedtler Pencils, but I could only find a 24-colour set (which we got for the boys), whereas the Prismacolor set has 72 colours (and they are were, and still are, 50% off).  Lol.  Yes.  I look for deals.  Every penny I save is a penny I can buy yarn with!

Right.  Back to crochet!

Spincushions has released the third square of the Flowers Abound CAL.  It is called Hana, which is Japanese for flower, and it is a lovely little square.

Heike from Made With Loops also offers a quick and easy Bloom Granny Square, made with Scheepjeswol Bloom.

And on another note, Helen Shrimpton has created a pattern for a beautiful Spiro Poncho.

Have a smashingly creative week!

Good morning and welcome to Part 11 of the Sophie’s Universe CAL 2015.  This week we have only 4 rounds, and they are a repeat of Sophie’s Garden…which means that your long side/short side days are at an end (after one more round).

Each and every one of you should feel immensely proud of [...]
