Fred has been galloping around Europe at "Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne" sourcing some interesting bottles for next week's Level II (or so he said but he seemed to be enjoying himself way too much and I'm still waiting for my case of the Chablis "Montée de Tonnere' 1er Cru, 2010 ...sublime.... takes me back to my Dad dragging me around Puligny-Montrachet as a seven year old and insisting I taste. Yeah the seventies. When kids tasted wine and didn't have allergies.
Then he went on to ProWein where he caught up with interesting suppliers too, in particular he was enraptured with an Italian red (or was that redhead?) and in between he managed to capture some New World stars to complete our global Level II line up.
