Many of you have been asking about a calendar again and its been a long time in the re-making but here it is. Click here for one to print out and of course you can see it below.  I hope it helps you check in with us and of course you can see on facebook events what we are up to too. You have all been so great recently coming and cooking along with us at events and of course at your own cooking parties and team cookings - its been loads of fun :)  At the risk of overplaying the cute kids photo card I'll stick in here the kids and young Petru who was a jam tart superstar at the British Council cookery workshop - clocking up some 37 or so.


It feels so strange to be reading about about Wimbledon heatwaves and to be reminding people we have a rainproof terasa here....eveything topsy turvy indeed! But anyhow its still glorious fruit weather and we have strawberry and basil sorbet in the sundaes, new jams on the go and some lovely summer workshops with healthy baking that incorporate much of the fruit and veg that make a Romanian summer so great. This Saturday I am re-working some American classics with no sugar and gluten. See more on the facebook page, sign up by email pls or give me a buzz.


I'm pretty excited about the Greek Cooking & Eating night on the 15th with some mouth watering direct imports of really top notch products from our friends Maria and Kostas from Agora. Kostas has personally visited all the suppliers he uses and Ive been doing my best to sample as much as possible too. Last time I visited he had to stop me drinking directly from the bottle (olive oil mind) in the shop! Watch this space for the full mezze and mains repertoire and something magical with mastika!

As usual the boys are shaking up cocktails and sundaes galore on Fridays so we decided to make it even happier with two Happy Hours from 4-6pm....plus there are also of course cocktails on Sundays to have with your brunch specials.  Last Sunday it was fresh bagels and Apple & Blueberry Pie...I think we will do that again this week!
