Velvety pumpkin works well in hummus and I like dribbling sweet pomegranate molasses over it.  I know its yet more pumpkin but really the Thai pumpkin soup is dreamy and then still on the Asian theme...a Beef Rendang pie...well why not?  The really aromatic "Citra" pale ale copes well with the spices. On Sunday Roast beef on the bone, all the trimmings and then a take on traditional Bakewell as we are in "Nuci"land...I like to make a frangipane type Bakewell (more sticky and nutty and less cake) with walnuts and the walnut/plum combo works great. Proper custard obvs.  Sunshine forecast so the "igloo" may in fact be a little bit of a suntrap.
