Gourmet Food Lovers Weekend 12-14 February Avincis Winery, Dragasani - A grand love affair with food & wine

I'm really excited to be able to bring this weekend to you as we have planned some wonderful dinners, a really interesting charcuterie workshop (you will eat the fruit of your labours at the Champagne Sunday brunch)  and of course a winery tour. Its a chance to explore and know better Avincis, the wines of Ghislain Moritz and this gem of a wine region "Dragasani" all kindly hosted by Mr & Mrs Valeriu Stoica.  The winery offers luxury state of the art accommodation so you can feel pleasantly pampered and in addition the wineries of Stirbey, Bauer and Via Sandu are all within a few kilometres making this a true wine lovers haven.

17h Arrival , check in and relax…
19h  Welcome drinks & canapes 
20h Wine Paired Dinner 
A five course dinner with matched wines where you will get to know some of the wines and start to feel relaxed

Saturday  February 13th, 2016
9h Breakfast
Home made jams and breads and fresh local eggs
10h Cookery Workshop - “Going the whole hog”
Its time to make a real fennel and orange stuffed porchetta, cure some bacon, make wild boar, porcini and negru de dragasani sausages and a really good pate full of red wine…which we seem to have plenty of!  The only bad news is that we must wait until Sunday to eat our charcuterie!
13h Light Lunch
Some pate we made earlier, some soup and our special “Placinta Dobrogeana” with lots of cheese and greens…but not so much there isn't room for dinner
14h Winery Tour
16h Free time to explore the surrounding area, walks and other vineyards in the area
Other vineyards like Prince Stirbey, Bauer  and Via Sandu can be visited or you can walk to the nearby monastery. We shall help you plan your  afternoon.
20h Wine Paired Dinner hosted by Mr & Mrs Valeriu Stoica
Its now six courses and some special dishes with aphrodisiacal qualities! Dessert is all about chocolate. Sleep well!

Sunday  February 14th 2016 
9h Coffee, Juice  & fresh home made bread light breakfast
Because you need to save yourself for…
12h  Champagne Brunch  with open air live grill
Local  champagne from the Prince Stirbey vineyard, the Avincis Rosé a big open fire grill and our porchetta as well as our charcuterie, some big salads, home made breads and a selection of home made cakes. If only Sunday brunch could last forever…
