Yoga for Health & Well-Being

I somewhat resistantly attended a workshop on branding myself as a yoga teacher in the summer. I have historically rejected the idea of branding what I am teaching as something new and flashy. 

But what I took from the session on branding was that it doesn't necessarily mean repackaging what I am teaching, it can be as simple as getting clear about who I am interested in working with. 

I want to teach yoga in a way that supports physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, and I want people who work with me to deeply understand that the practice is fundamentally about learning to be well. 

My new adventures reflect this focus on health and well-being, and I hope you will join me!

A monthly gathering to explore the practice of yoga beyond the physical postures. Practice will include pranayama, meditation, mantra, lecture and discussion on yogic philosophy, and dialogue about the challenges of living a yogic lifestyle in the twenty-first century.

This 5 class series will focus on the Yamas, the first limb of the yoga practice, and there will be a month between each session to give you an opportunity to investigate how the different practices work in all aspects of your life.

 Cost: $75 for all 5 sessions OR $20 per session
