The Formation Team will be offering sausage biscuits (and plain biscuits) for sale to raise funds for the annual St. Luke's Christmas Dinner. They will be offered this Sunday, May 19th and will cost $3.00.
We need help preparing dinner for the PRIZM students and faculty (approx. 75 people) on June 3rd. If you would like to provide a side dish or dessert, there is a sign up sheet in the narthex or go to SignUpGenius.com. There are some students with nut allergies. We also need several people to help with set up and clean up. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Book and Movie Group
We will meet on May 23, at 7, to discuss The Auschwitz Escape, by Joel C. Rosenberg. Happily, Pat Patterson will be with us to lead the discussion. Maxine will be there, too!
The class on May 23 will meet at Pyros restaurant in the Park Place Centre on the corner of Ridgeway and Park, where we will gather around 6-6:30 to eat and fellowship together before the study. Baptism and Guest Preacher
Nicholas Christians will be baptized on Sunday, May 26. Rev. Margaret Burnett, Associate Pastor at Idlewild Presbyterian Church, will officiate the sacrament. Rev. Dr. Gary Dorrien - Nicholas’ grandfather - will preach.
All Task Force Meetings will be Tuesday, May 28, at 6pm, at Shady Grove Presbyterian.
Now collecting tampons, pads, menstrual cups, washable pads and underwear through May 31st. Join us for a Period Pack Party, June 1st, 2-4pm here at Shady Grove. We have a collection bin located in the narthex.
We will be collecting items from now until June 9th for the Presbytery Pentecost Event at Rhodes College. Reverend Dr. Byron Wade will lead the service at 3:30pm. Please wear red! There is a list of most needed items located in the narthex along with a collection bin. St. Luke's Food Pantry
Boxes of macaroni and cheese and cans of main dish items with meat are needed. The food supply at the pantry is running low at this time.

Tai Chi for Health
