WITH ROGER & ROBIN HARSH IN CZECH REPUBLIC AND EASTERN EUROPE
REFLECTION ON 2018
We are amazed at how fast this year has gone!
In 2018 we hosted 9 different teams. It was a joy to work with a verity of people from around the world, with such diverse giftings and callings. They were all on fire for Jesus, with a huge desire to see the Kingdom of God grow everywhere they went. The teams were from Australia, Germany, England and the United States. Each team consisted of people from many different nations.
We had a fantastic time being involved with David's Tabernacle in 2018. In March we went with a team to Colechester, England. Then, in June we were involved with David's Tabernacle in Uzhgorod, Ukraine. It's so amazing to see Christians from different nationalities praying, worshipping, and encouraging one another. This looked like a picture of Daniel 7:14 and Revelation 15:4 in action.
During this year, 2018, we attended several training seminars.
In July we took part in a course, in Germany, on how to run a DTS (Discipleship Training School). It was crucial for us to receive training in foundational Christian values, that we will later impart to students who attend the DTS here in Prague.
Robin was invited to Tablisi, Georgia in the Fall, to be involved with the Central European core group, called ACT (Area Core Team). The program's primary purpose is to improve communication and involvement with different YWAM teams in Central Europe.
Then in October, I (Roger) attended a three week Member Care Course in Sweden. In the course I gained so much insight on how to counsel other missionaries in helping them to be more effective on the mission field.
Elizabeth's involvement in the DTS in New Zealand and Vanuatu, has been amazing. She has learned so much from her experiences abroad and is excited to put what she has learned into action. She flys back to Prague on December 24th for Christmas.
As we prepare for the Christmas season, we want to send blessings from our home to yours! We are so thankful for how the LORD has been with our family through the year. We would not be here with out your faithful partnership.
Let's focus on the very reason we have been serving for so many years in the Czech Republic. Our hearts long to see people come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Jesus was born for one purpose and that is to redeem mankind from eternal separation from the LORD of all creation. We celebrate Jesus' birth, in view of His sacrificial death and triumphant resurrection. Because Jesus rose from the dead, our hope is in the final resurrection and eternity with Him!
