Fighting Climate Change One City at a Time

August 13, 2019, 6:30 pm. Cambrian Library

The League of Women Voters San Jose/Santa Clara invites you to an informative evening that will share best practices on how you can fight climate change. Kerrie Romanow, director of Environmental Services from the City of San Jose will join other local environmental leaders in an illuminating evening that will highlight how our local communities and governments are taking important actions to fight this climate crisis.

The evening will include a special screening of the acclaimed documentary film Paris to Pittsburgh. This regarded film brings to life the impassioned efforts of individuals and organizations who are battling the most severe threats of climate change in their own cities and backyards.

The panel discussion will start at 7:45.  So if you have already seen the film on NatGeo Channel or elsewhere, feel free to arrive after 7:30.

Save the date, find out more, AND register here.
