More Information About the New Product

Event Manager

The built-in Event Manager feature can perform any user-defined action when a change in the device status occurs: in the case of a status change on the input (e.g. a new signal or a change in resolution), a responsive action can be defined by the user. This user-defined response can be a crosspoint switch, sending of IR or RS-232 commands or changing the volume, to mention a few of the possibilities. The new, recently added features of Event Manager allow sending out IP based commands over LAN connection. Also, users can set up a delay to the predefined response actions, so that if a condition changes within a set time interval, the Event Manager will wait for any further change before executing the action: as an example, disconnecting a laptop from the system, the Event Manager will not shut down the projector and the lamps immediately, but wait for a given time before command execution.
Event Manager eliminates the need for  additional control in simple systems and it is available as a built-in feature in the MMX6x2-HT product family and in higher level TPS extenders.
