Meet Mark and Michelle Gabriel

August pro-lifers of the month work together

Deep down, they both have always known abortion was wrong.

For Mark Gabriel, he was in college when the truth really hit him.

“I was ignorant about it,” he said. “But the process of drawing closer to God (through college missionary work), well, that turned the light on for me. The Lord turned the light on.”

In January 1989, Mark took a bus to Planned Parenthood headquarters in New York City with Operation Rescue.

Michelle Gabriel attributes her passion for preborn children to her marriage.

“I’m involved because I married Mark,” she said.

Before they were officially courting, as Michelle called it, Mark asked her to hold a sign near an abortion clinic.

Candidates on life

NARAL president at Dem Convention

Presidential election has large implactions
"With (Justice) Scalia’s death and two of the remaining eight justices in their 80s by Election Day, the likelihood that the next president will appoint at least three justices to the Supreme Court guarantees that abortion will remain a major issue in 2016 election."

Dem platform on abortion
While declaring the continued fight for taxpayer funded abortions, Democrats said they are "committed to creating a society where children are safe and can thrive physically, emotionally, educationally and spiritually,”

Center for Medical Progress cleared
"While the released videos stimulated widespread public outcry and calls for the federal government to investigate the methods of Planned Parenthood, Texas decided to charge the pair of undercover videographers criminally in January 2016."

Abortion large part of 2016 election
"I know there is a fetal heartbeat because I’m pregnant. I know that there is a viable (baby), so I don’t need that shoved in my face," an Ohio woman said. This woman still had an abortion, despite seeing and hearing her child's heartbeat.

A woman's right to know booklet
A Texas legislator is calling the booklets "propaganda." In Wisconsin, the purple books which show baby development from conception to birth save lives. Pro-Life Wisconsin State Director Dan Miller has a story about the book here.

Walker signs bill on adoption procedures
“We know families are a primary source of love and support for Wisconsin’s children, and we will continue to work with public, private, and tribal agencies to connect children seeking adoption with loving families," Gov. Scott Walker said.
