Internationally renowned pro-life speaker and activist, Rebecca Kiessling, will share her powerful story with us April 5th in Brookfield and April 6th in Appleton.  And you’re invited!

Individuals like Rebecca are the reason why Pro-Life Wisconsin proclaims the 100% pro-life, total protection message.  Her life and witness reinforces the truth of the dignity and value of every human life, regardless of the circumstances.

University of New Mexico Admits Harvesting Aborted Babies for Research, Waffles on Semantics

(LifeSiteNews) University of New Mexico researchers used 57 aborted babies for a study they say used "human tissue" – but did not employ “human subject research” – from "elective terminations."

"Human tissue was obtained under the oversight of the Institutional Review Board at University of New Mexico (which determined that the study did not constitute human subject research since no identifiable patient data were collected)," says the study. "Mid-gestation (11-22 week) human fetal ductus arteriosus and ascending aorta were obtained at elective terminations of pregnancy in healthy women."

The 2010 study was originally highlighted by New Mexico Alliance for Life in a press release about the university's seemingly contradictory claims.

Bishop Schneider Takes Up Pope's Remarks on Contraception for Zika

(LifeSiteNews) Since Pope Francis’ controversial remarks on contraception, in the context of a question about the Zika virus, on his February 18 return flight from Mexico, several prominent Catholic theologians have warned that the pope erred, and his own spokesman seemed to interpret the remarks in a way that would contradict Catholic doctrine.

Quoting Humanae Vitae, Bishop Athanasius Schneider, the auxiliary bishop of Astana, Kazakhstan, affirmed the Church’s perennial teaching that contraception is “intrinsically evil.” He added, quoting the Catechism, that even legitimate intentions on the part of the spouses (such as avoidance of Zika transmission) do not justify recourse to contraception.
