Don’t forget there is still time to donate a bike to Big Bike Giveaway. Money donations from the public can be directed HERE. All funds go to repair of donated bikes (tires, chains, tubes, brakes etc.) The giveaway of free bikes is:
  • Sunday Sept 30th
  • Boyle Memorial Community Centre, 530 Charlotte Street.
  • OEV registration opens 9am.
  • 1st-Come-1st- Served, 1 bike/person.

On Sept 8, thousands of rallies will be held around the world for climate action. TREA has been asked to share about a local march calling for environmental justice and "just transition" to renewable energy. ‘Rise For Climate, Jobs & Justice’ is being held 4-6pm, at Victoria Park, at the Richmond/Central entrance.

The City now has two new "Thirstation" drinking water stations available at no cost for community functions! To find out more and their availability, call the City at 519-661-2489 ext. 5081 or email: water@london.ca.
Two Public Participation Meetings will be held Tuesday, Sept 25, 2018 at 4 pm at City Hall, 300 Dufferin Avenue. Book delegations with your formal comments on the proposed 60% Waste Diversion Action Plan and the Proposed Terms of Reference for the Environmental Assessment of the Proposed W12A Landfill Expansion for either meeting. Remember to file these in advance.
