Reception: Saturday, October 21, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
620 Kearny Street, San Francisco, CA

Come Back Tomorrow features photographic works by Dicky Bahto and Ahram Park. Bahto’s photo-assemblages document an apartment window through time. Photographs are taken of and given back to the domestic scene, returned to again and again over many days and nights. The photographs, like the window they represent, are to be looked at as well as looked through, as one catches glimpses of the world beyond and the home within. Park turns his camera to the natural world, tracking minute interventions that, over time, transform an organism into a gesture. Time is no more linear in Park’s series of images, whose order and placement abstracts from the causal sequence of its production. Park and Bahto offer different perspectives on the photographic series, using them for reflections and observations rather than telling stories.

Ahram Park (b.1986, Pusan, Korea) is an artist based in Los Angeles, California. He received his B.S. in Economics from Kansas State University in 2010 and an M.F.A. from the University of California, Riverside in 2017. Park works primarily through photographic interventions, building upon observations and gestures. The interventions yield moments of minute change; a record of existence.

Dicky Bahto (b. 1981, New Jersey) lives in Los Angeles. He makes work, mostly using cameras, drawing on the traditions of experimental film and music. He has a performance trio with Corey Fogel and Tashi Wada, and frequently collaborates with other artists including Casey Anderson, Luciano Chessa, Julia Holter, and a cat named Katouche. He received a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2004, and an MFA from the University of California, Riverside, in 2017.
