BCA Initiative - Feedback from the meeting on Wednesday 3rd April
Thank you to all the parents who attended our first BCA parents meeting. We are appreciative of your time and effort to open the conversation about Woodfield’s educational provision. There were a number of points expressed and different opinions shared regarding how to improve the progress and educational experience of our black Caribbean students. All the feedback will be used to develop the initiative at Woodfield School and within Brent and increase the provision and opportunities on offer to all our students. This should reflect our population of students. Parents have asked for a follow up meeting so watch this space!
International Evening - Wednesday 22nd May
Woodfield will be celebrating out multicultural community again. International Evening will take place on Wednesday 22nd May from 5pm-6.30pm. This is a chance to cook, taste and share your national dish with other parents, pupils and their family, alongside entertainment. A range of free food covering all the continents of the world will be available. If you would like to participate and cook your national dish, please contact Patsy or Mr Murray. Look out for further information and tickets for this event.
Sufra NW London
Sufra NW-London is a charity based in Stonebridge which provides a food bank and community kitchen services to those in need. Woodfield School is now working with Sufra as a referral agency. We are able to issue a voucher to parent/carer to enable them to visit and be provided with a food parcel which contains a week’s supply of food for the whole family. If you require more information or assistance, please contact Patsy, our Parent Liaison Officer. Rest assured, as always, that meetings of this nature are treated confidentially.
