Dear Parents and Carers,

Winter Clothing
With the colder months approaching, we'd like to remind parent/carers of the importance of ensuring their child is wearing appropriate clothing? This includes hats, gloves and a scarf as well as a suitable winter coat. Do remember to check that all these items are labelled as smaller clothing items tend to go missing very easily and make it difficult to identify the correct owner. There are many sites on the internet where you can purchase sew on or iron on labelling for clothing for minimal cost. Click here for more details.
Year 13 Annual Reviews begin 21st November
Our apologies, that they are taking place much earlier this academic year. (their year 12 Annual Reviews took place in the Summer term). The reason for this is some of our year 13 pupils may leave school early and so we need to ensure their Annual Reviews are completed this academic year before they leave for work placements or go onto college. As usual, you will be notified to arrange a meeting time convenient for you.
Child Protection - Safeguarding Children Coffee Morning
Thanks to all who attended the safeguarding session today. All attendees found it a worthwhile exercise and we hope to run more similar sessions in the future.
Sufra NW London
Sufra NW-London is a charity based in Stonebridge which provides a food bank and community kitchen services to those in need. Woodfield School is now working with Sufra as a referral agency. We are able to issue a voucher to parent/carer to enable them to visit and be provided with a food parcel which contains a week’s supply of food for the whole family.
If you require more information or assistance, please contact Patsy, our Parent Liaison Officer. Rest assured as always, that all meetings will be treated confidentially.
