Hey! Thanks all for the great feedback you've given regarding this families email. I love hearing from you, especially the stories of how God is working in you and and your family. Thanks also to all who came to the Kids' Arvo BBQ. It was a great night. Stay tuned for the next one.

Yesterday we began a series on discipline. Daniel Leech showed us from 1 Corinthians how we are to flee from sexual immorality. This is a huge topic for us as parents, but also personally, whether married or single. I encourage you to listen to the sermon online (it should be uploaded Thursday) and to pray and think about how you can discuss these things with your spouse, your children and accountability partners. Here are a couple of articles to help you with this.

Keen to understand and enjoy God's beautiful design for sex in your marriage? As Dan mentioned in his sermon, a great way to fight sexual immorality is to enjoy your spouse. This article may facilitate some good discussions around that: http://patriciaweerakoon.com/blog-doing-sex-gods-way/mars-and-venus-understanding-male-and-female-sexual-response/

How do we instil in our kids a beautiful vision for Biblical sexuality? This article is a must read: https://erlc.com/resource-library/articles/9-ways-to-establish-sexual-norms-for-your-children-before-the-world-does

The first article is written by Christian Sexologist (yes, there is such a thing) Dr. Particia Weerakoon. We are honoured to have her speak on Wednesday night. See below for more details.

Messages about sex are everywhere. God's message is true, so God's message is best. Know, teach and enjoy the better way.
