ROMANIANS IN BRITAIN: THE POSES OF ASCENT

As the celebrations of our National Day are about to unfold, we invite you to discover Ion Paciu's revealing portraits of Romanians from all walks of life who, in the past years, have come to call London their home. The exhibition, entitled "Revisiting Romania: Portraits from London", opened in 2014 at the Horniman Museum as part of a major programme celebrating Romanian identity, old and new, and was later shown by the British Embassy in Bucharest, on the occasion of the Queen’s Birthday Party, and at the Romanian Cultural Institute's headquarters. more

Acclaimed director and author Mark Cousins curates a series of Romanian film, revisiting 100 years of cinema. ENESCU'S "ROMANIAN RHAPSODY' AT CADOGAN HALL

We are getting ready to welcome the festive winter season with a grand concert presented by the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra of London, under the baton of Christopher Petrie, and world-renowned pianist Leslie Howard. The concert features George Enescu's impassioned "Romanian Rhapsody No. 2", the composer's most popular work, as well as Sergei Rachmaninov's all time favourite "Piano Concerto No. 2".
