Spotlight on the 3rd International HIV/Viral Hepatitis Co-Infection Meeting

 


Dear Ias,

You are registered for AIDS 2016 but have not yet signed up to attend the pre-conference meetings that are part of your registration package. 

Delegates can sign up for a total of three pre-conferences until capacity is reached, so be sure to make your selection as soon as possible. 

The pre-conference programme – a select group of independently organized meetings – will take place for the first time within the main conference venue, the International Convention Centre (ICC), on 16-17 July, immediately before the opening of AIDS 2016.
 
Spotlight on the 3rd International HIV/Viral Hepatitis Co-Infection Meeting

The 3rd International HIV/Viral Hepatitis Co-Infection Meeting, hosted by the International AIDS Society (IAS), will take place on 17 July, 2016 in Durban, South Africa. The focus of the meeting will be to identify challenges and opportunities for increasing the diagnosis and treatment of viral hepatitis in people living with HIV, particularly in resource-limited settings. Highlights for the upcoming meeting include:
  • Programme covering the latest science for both hepatitis B and hepatitis C, as well as discussions on challenges in resource-limited settings and around access
  • Presentation of the World Health Organization (WHO) Hepatitis Diagnostic Guidelines
The meeting is made possible through the support of Gilead Sciences, ContraVir Pharamaceuticals, the European AIDS Clinical Society and the European Association for the Study of the Liver.
