|Spotlight on the Global HIV Clinical Forum
The Global HIV Clinical Forum will take place on 16 July, 2016 in Durban. The Forum is an abstract-driven educational programme dedicated to the integration of science and clinical practice focusing on integrase inhibitors. Through plenary lectures, Q&A and debate, the interactive meeting will bridge the knowledge gap between experts and the HIV treatment community.
The Forum will, foremost, offer HIV medical professionals a unique platform to discuss and better comprehend the basic science of integrase inhibitors, ultimately reaching optimal clinical practice by:
- building knowledge on usage and application of integrase inhibitors in clinical practice
- increasing recognition of the resistance characteristics and pharmacological implications of integrase inhibitors
- developing understanding of the latest developments to inform participants' ongoing and completed research
- helping to optimize patient care
Participants can benefit from participation grants (including registration and accommodation) and the potential to earn CME credits from the South African HIV Society.
For those conducting research or possessing clinical experience, please submit your abstracts and/or clinical case reports for the Forum here.
