You are registered for the 21st International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2016) but have not yet signed up to attend the pre-conference meetings that are part of your registration package.
Delegates can sign up for a total of three pre-conferences until capacity is reached, so be sure to make your selection as soon as possible.
The pre-conference programme – a select group of independently organized meetings – will take place for the first time within the main conference venue, the International Convention Centre (ICC), on 16-17 July, immediately before the opening of AIDS 2016.
|Spotlight on the Positive Action for Children Fund Collaborathon
The Positive Action for Children Fund (PACF) Collaborathon will take place on 17 July, 2016 in Durban. The Collaborathon will bring together 400 participants, including community groups, funders, Ministry of Health officials and international institutions for a day of engaging discussions, idea sharing and project development.
Following a high-level panel discussion featuring global leaders in HIV, a series of breakout discussions and ‘speed dating’ sessions will allow groups to discuss key issues around ending mother to child transmission and paediatric HIV. The afternoon will build on these discussions by breaking out into smaller working groups to develop collaborative project proposals. Participants will have the ability to develop proposals that can be submitted to the PACF Board for funding grants to be announced the following week.
If you are interested in attending the Collaborathon, please apply here. Applications close this week 13 May 2016. Successful applicants will be notified by mid-June 2016.
