If you’ve got great ideas to share, plus the time and the brainspace to get more involved, and you dig spending time with cool women, COME TO THE OFFICERS’ MEETINGS, Monday April 8th at 7 PM at 110 William Street, 28th floor, Manhattan.  RSVP to webikenyc@gmail.com for more info.

WE Bike NYC: Corona!

One of WE Bike NYC's most important projects is underway in Corona Queens. WE Bike NYC aims to get more women on bikes. For many of us, that has meant joining together to celebrate a love of biking. But for some communities, that means entering the community for the first time.

This past week, WE Bike NYC launched our Corona project in Queens. Twelve badass women from the local community  joined our group to build their first bicycles, learn basic mechanics, and in just nine short weeks, they will take the reigns and lead rides in their communities with their new skills.

Here are some photos from our classes last week, and there are only more great experiences on the way.
