Meet at 6:45am at the Fountain in City Hall Park, Manhattan. Our team will have some coffee and donuts available and we will take a group photo. We will head to the start line shortly after 7am to get our places (because of the large number of participants, it can take a while to get in line).
You will need to pick up your packet BEFORE the ride. You received an email with the information on pick up. See the link for information here. NOTE: The packet pick-up location has moved to Brooklyn, rather than Manhattan, as it has been in the past. Please read all information carefully.
On the morning of the ride, be sure you bring the packet with you for important information, rider numbers, helmet cover, etc. You cannot participate in the ride without these items.

When we get to Greenpoint, we'll stop at the famous Peter Pan Donut Shop for some treats, and we'll end at McCarren Park. Most of the ride will be on greenways and bike lanes, but a few blocks will be on the street with traffic. Total distance is about 6 miles.

Have you heard people talking about biking 9W along the New Jersey Palisades but never tried it yourself? Now's your chance: WE Bike NYC is offering another intro to 9W ride.
We'll start in Harlem and make our way up to and over the George Washington Bridge. Then we'll bike about 12 miles up to the 9W Market for lunch. Expect lots of hills, but the pace will be beginner-friendly and there will be plenty of encouragement and high-fives. After lunch we'll return as a group to the city, ending at our starting location in Harlem. Round-trip distance is approximately 34 miles. For this ride you will need a bike with gears that is in good working order. Bring water, snacks, money for lunch, a spare tube, a lock and your helmet.
**Note:** This event is for women, female-identifying and gender non-conforming people only

We'll be hanging with the riders and crew of the BRAKING AIDS Ride, a 150-person fully supported three day ride from Boston to New York City that benefits Housing Works' lifesaving services.
