With clarity and grace, A Small Act is a compelling story of how one small act can change lives. The feature-length documentary follows the intersecting lives of a Holocaust survivor in Sweden, the Kenyan man whose education she funded and three hard-working, endearing children from poor families attending school in rural Kenya.

The 58-minute version of the film is designed for classrooms. We are able to provide lesson plans which enable students to examine the film, poverty and it's causes.

We welcome students to consider fundraising for Purple Cake Day using our new online event fundraising platform after seeing the film. Funds support the charity featured in the film, along with children's education initiatives in Haiti and Nepal.
